Media Police Seeking Woman Who Used Counterfeit Money

Police said they want to find out where the woman got the counterfeit $100 bill that she used at a Sunoco A-Plus gas station recently.

MEDIA, PA – Media Borough Police are looking for a woman who allegedly used a counterfeit $100 bill at a gas station recently to determine where the counterfeit money came from.

Police said the woman passed a counterfeit $100 bill at about 10:42 p.m. on June 14 at the Sunoco A-Plus station located at 296 E. Baltimore Ave., Media.

Police said the black female was heavy set, had wavy black hair with one side cut short above the ear while the other side was down to her shoulder.

Police did not say the woman is wanted for any criminal action, as she may have obtained the money without knowing it was fake. Rather, police want to speak with her to continue an investigation into the counterfeit money.
