Media Woman Dead After Driving Through Police Barricade At Crash Scene: Police
The roadway was blocked off for investigation into a crash that critically injured another driver, authorities said.
WEST WINDSOR, NJ — A Media woman was pronounced dead after driving through police barricades and striking a trailer involved in another crash investigation Friday morning in New Jersey, authorities said.
First, another driver struck a tractor trailer around 2 a.m. on Route 1 in West Windsor — just outside of Princeton — police said. The driver was extricated and brought to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Route 1 South was temporarily closed for the crash investigation. At around 5:20 a.m., a Media woman drove through the barricades and continued down Route 1, striking the trailer involved in the prior crash, police said.

The driver, 43, narrowly missed emergency responders at the scene, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police withheld her name, pending further investigation into her actions.
