Mother, Son, Friend Sold Sold Drugs In Delco: Authorities

Police allege the trio sold cocaine, prescription opioids, possessed unlawful firearms, and more in Delaware County.

A Delaware County trio, two being a mother-son duo, are facing charges related to selling drugs and possessing weapons, according to court records.

Catherine Woyurka, 53, her son Nicholas Woyurka, 23, and Steven Lacy, 23, all of Morton, were all arrested and charged in late July with drug crimes, court records show. Lacy, was also hit with a firearm-related charge and others, according to court records.

Catherine Woyurka is free after posting 10 percent of $50,000 bail, while Nicholas Woyurka is being held on the same bail agreement and Lacy is being held after failing to post 10 percent of $250,000 bail, according to court documents.

Police in Ridley Township said the trio were selling drugs including cocaine and prescription opioids near Catherine Woyurka's home on the 2100 block of Sixth Avenue in the township, according to the Delaware County Daily Times.

After several undercover drug purchases, police searched the home and found heroin, modified firearms, cocaine, and, drug paraphernalia, the outlet reports.

Lacy faces four felony counts of possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance; four counts of possession of a controlled substance; four counts of use or possession of drug paraphernalia; four felony counts of criminal use of a communication facility; making repairs/selling an offensive weapon; criminal conspiracy to engage in possession with the intent to manufacture or deliver; and criminal conspiracy to possess of drugs and paraphernalia, according to court documents.

The Woyurkas each face one count of felony possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance; possession of a controlled substance; and use or possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show.

Lacy's preliminary hearing is slated for Thursday, Aug. 3, while both Woyurka hearings are set for Aug. 24, court records show.
