NAACP Black History Month Poster Contest

Students from Media Elementary School have winning posters

Media Elementary School students participated in the annual NAACP Black History Month Poster Contest again this year. Students were challenged to create posters that celebrated the life and accomplishments of Black and African American inventors. Over 60 posters were submitted to the contest.

The winners included (from left to right): 2nd place winter, fifth grader Bea Pollock, 3rd place winner, fourth grader Andrea Strasser, and 2nd place winner, fourth grader Asher Matthews. Also pictured is Media Elementary Principal, Dr. Paula Voshell.
