National Day of Prayer is May 1 at Rose Tree Park

Councilman John McBlain introduced a resolution at the April 2  Delaware County Council meeting declaring May 1 to be National Day of Prayer, which he presented ot Patti Bruno, Delaware County coordinator of the National Day of Prayer Task Force. The National Day of Prayer program is sponsored annually by the National Day of Prayer Task Force on the first Thursday of May at 11:30 a.m. in Rose Tree Park underneath the large American Flag, as part of a national observance which was established in 1988 by President Ronald Reagan.
