National Day Of Prayer Event Being Held In Delaware County
The public is invited to attend the National Day of Prayer event in Rose Tree Park on Thursday, May 2.
MEDIA, PA — A National Day of Prayer event is planned to take place in Media's Rose Tree Park and the public is invited to attend.
The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the park, located at 1671 N. Providence Road, on Thursday, May 2.
Attendees can join in on singing, prayers, eating, and more at the event from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

From noon to 2:30 p.m., there will be a proclamation of Delaware County Annual Day of Prayer will be read by a member of the County Council, and worship and praise music.
Clergy and Community Leaders will pray for many concerns and issues of our nation including "the 7 centers of influence: government, church, marriages and family, schools, businesses, military and vets, the media" and several more major issues including revival in the land, the unborn, and the peace of Jerusalem

Attendees should bring lawn chairs, blankets, and a lunch. A small number umber of chairs and benches will be available on a first-come basis.
Other National Day of Prayer events in Delco will be held on the Delaware County Courthouse steps at noon, at Spruce Street Baptist Church in Newtown Square at 6:30 p.m., and at 7 p.m. in the Delaware County Christian School's DeMoss Auditorium.
