Delco Nursing Home Workers Faked Overtime, Stole Thousands: DA

Two former employees at a local healthcare facility stole thousands each by lying about overtime hours worked.

MEDIA, PA — Two women who worked at Delaware County's Fair Acres Geriatric Center have been accused of lying on overtime forms, tantamount to theft.

Authorities said Donna Perkins, 55, and Keisha Buckley, 49, both of Chester, have been charged with felony theft and related charges for altering overtime records in the Fair Acres’ payroll system to increase their compensation. Both were employed by the County’s skilled nursing facility, Fair Acres Geriatric Center.

On Sept. 27, county detectives were contacted by William D’Amico, the administrator of Fair Acres, who told them two employees were logging into the Fair Acres' payroll system and adding unauthorized overtime hours to their pay.
