PA Woman Who Killed Husband By Feeding Him Rat Poison For a Year Being Released: Report
She wanted to cash in a $300K life insurance policy and to keep him from spending the $1.7 million she won in a lawsuit, reports say.

A Pennsylvania woman who killed her husband by slipping rat poison into his food and drinks for a year is set to be released from prison, reports say.
According to AP, Joann Curley, 53, will be released after serving a 20 year sentence for the 1991 murder.
Curley killed her husband Robert Curley by dosing him with Thallium, a substance once used in rat poison, over the course of a year to cash in on a $300,000 life insurance policy and to prevent him from spending a $1.7 million settlement she won in a lawsuit, according to AP.

Curley also dosed herself and her then 4-year-old daughter in an attempt to dupe authorities regarding who was actually poisoning Robert Curley, AP reports
