Penncrest A.M. Prom Fashion Show will Feature Latest Prom Fashions and Silent Auction
Penncrest Fashion Show and Silent Auction on Feb. 26, 2017
The Penncrest Class of 2017 will present the latest prom fashions in dresses and tuxedos from several boutiques throughout the local area in an A.M. Prom Fashion Show and Silent Auction to be held at Penncrest High School on Sunday, February 26th at 1 p.m. Doors open at noon. Tickets can be purchased at a discount online at penncrestamprom.org for $10 and or on the day of the show for $15. Admittance is free to participate in the Silent Auction.
All proceeds from the Fashion Show and Silent Auction will benefit the Penncrest A.M. Prom that is held after the senior prom to keep students safe while entertaining them at the high school through the wee hours of the morning. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, on a typical prom weekend, 48 teenagers are killed in vehicles and 5,202 are injured. Now a yearly tradition, the A.M. Prom offers a safe alternative to seniors in lieu of going down the shore or to a party after the senior prom.
The Silent Auction portion of the Penncrest A.M. Prom Fashion Show will include a number of items that attendees can secretly bid on:

- An acoustic guitar signed by Blake Shelton and other country music greats (donated by WXTU, with certificate of authenticity)
- Memberships to gyms including Healthplex, Rocky Run Y and RetroFitness
- Flyers, 76ers and Phillies tickets
- Theater tickets (including Media Theater, Philadelphia Orchestra)
- Gift Certificates for local restaurants and salons
- Family Entertainment Baskets (including Wildwood Waterpark, Oasis Family Fun Center)
- Sports camps
- Landscaping/Yard services.
Silent Auction tables close at the end of the Fashion Show intermission. Winners will be announced at the end of the Fashion Show, prior to the finale. The general public is welcome to participate in just the Silent Auction. Winners will be contacted after the show.
