Empirical Embrace Counseling offers therapy services for those struggling with issues such as eating disorders, body image dissatisfaction, obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief disorders, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. We offer a variety of evidence-based treatment models such as CBT, CBT-e, ERP, PE, etc. At EEC, the single most important thing is the relationship we share with each individual client - which is why rapport building is always the first goal. If you are going to trust us with these treatments, we want you to trust us as human beings too. We currently have no wait list and are offering in-person sessions in PA and virtual options for PA, DE, and NJ.

I teach electric and acoustic guitar lessons in person close to Springfield and Swarthmore. I have been teaching guitar for over 30 years and have experience teaching all ages of students. I also perform with my classic rock band The Garage Bandits most weekends and can help students get comfortable playing in front of other people. This class will run for 6 sessions over the course of 7 weeks on Mondays from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. Each week I will introduce slightly more complicated melodies that will help develop students' ability to play single note melodies on the guitar.

The Super Sunday street fair was a rousing success, thanks to the glorious sunshine and comfortable temperatures in the 60s. Thousands of people visited the event to shop and dine. About 200 vendors set up shop up and down State Street, as well as on Veterans Square. There was everything from costume jewelry, to sand art, to collectibles and antiques to sports paraphernalia. Hungry patrons could visit the food stands, including , and . Visitors were also out and about supporting local organizations, such as, <a href="http://www.acdc.ws/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Animal Coalition of Delaware County</a> and the Girl Scouts.

SISTERHOOD OF THE ROSE: Chants for the Divine Mother

A lot of my group class students expressed an interest in taking a music theory class, so starting June 15th, I will be offering just that! This class is for anyone who wants to learn more about topics such as how chords get their names, what exactly are keys, and why should I learn scales? Although this class is geared toward guitar players, any instrumentalist is welcome to join. We’ll cover the basics such as the names of the notes, the major scale formula, and how the basic chords are constructed from the notes in the key. Feel free to contact me with any questions about the material. This class will run for 6 sessions on Mondays at 7:30pm – 8:30 from June 15th through July 27th. No class will be held on July 13th.
