Police Memorial Service Planned For Wednesday Morning In Media

MEDIA, PA — A memorial service for police will be held Wednesday morning in Media.

The Delaware County Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation's annual Police Memorial Service will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Rose Tree Park.

This year, the Memorial Foundation will be honoring 47 fallen officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

The public is invited to join families of fallen heroes, law enforcement officers from across Delaware County, and their families and friends as the county honors fallen heroes.

The service will include the traditional wreath laying and a ceremonial "roll call" of fallen heroes who are displayed on the Police Memorial wall.

Rose Tree Park is located at 1671 N. Providence Road in Media.
