Police: More Than $10,000 in Jewelry Stolen from Retirement Village Homes

Two jewelry thefts took place within two days of each other at an Edgmont retirement community, according to the Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks.

An unknown person entered a White Horse Village Woodlands Road residence at about 6 p.m. on Feb. 7 and removed several pieces of jewelry from the victim's closet, according to State Police. The estimated value of the jewelry is about $10,000, according to State Police.

A day earlier, an unknown person gained entry into a White Horse Village Gradyville Road residence at about 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 6 and stole a silver jewelry box containing multiple items of jewelry, according to State Police.
