Rose Tree Elementary School Celebrates International Peace Day

The 4th grade students and teachers at Rose Tree Elementary celebrated International Peace Day this week. The celebration focused on how each individual can make a difference in a classroom, grade level, or entire school. The students rotated through a variety of activities such as reading biographies of people who have been peacemakers in our world, listening to music about peace from different eras, and reading and writing poetry. The activities culminated in the formation of a human peace sign on the playground.
