RTMSD Elementary Schools Ranked Among PA's Best: Study

MEDIA, PA — School is back in session, and Niche.com recently released its list of the best elementary schools here in Pennsylvania for 2019. And the Rose Tree Media School District has cause to be proud.

Indian Lane Elementary School was ranked No. 66 on the list.

Rose Tree Elementary earned a No. 71 spot, while Media Elementary rounded out the list at No. 100.

To calculate the rankings, Niche said it looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings and the overall quality of the school district.

The methodology for each category of rankings varied with some factors having a higher weight for certain categories over others.

Radnor Township School District's Ithan Elementary earned the top spot, coming in at No. 1.
