Sean Wright, MD, FACS, Appointed to The Riddle HealthCare Foundation Board of Directors

The Riddle HealthCare Foundation, part of Main Line Health (MLH), has elected Sean Wright, MD, FACS, to its Board of Directors. Dr. Wright is Founder and President of Wright Plastic Surgery, PC in Media, PA and Founder of Swellbox, Inc., a portable digital health record company. The Foundation provides a philanthropic venue for members of the community to support Riddle Hospital.

Dr. Wright is a frequent Grand Rounds lecturer, is featured in the 2016 Philadelphia Magazine Top Docs for plastic surgery, and has been involved in research over the past 20 years. He has also served on various committees at Main Line Health since 2009, including Riddle Hospital’s Credentials, Cancer and Medical Operations Committees and Main Line Health’s Medical Executive Committee.

“We are honored to have an outstanding health care professional as Dr. Wright join our Board of Directors, and we are certain that with his clinical and research backgrounds as well as his strong affiliation with Main Line Health, will be an asset to Main Line Health,” said Steven Derby, Executive Director of the Foundation. “His insights and expertise will add depth to our already distinguished Board of Directors and enhance the continued success of our hospital and the community we serve.”

Dr. Wright is a graduate of Swarthmore College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. He completed his residency and served as Chief Resident of Harvard’s Plastic Surgery Training Program. Dr. Wright is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
