Sears Employee Accused of Defrauding Store, Police Say
Also, a man threatened three victims at the Delaware County Alternative School, police say.

Retail Theft—Sears at the Granite Run Mall at about 7 p.m. on March 1. A Media woman took items from the store without paying, according to State Police, she was apprehended and arrested in connection with retail theft.

Two-Vehicle Crash—Route 352 near Glen Riddle Road at about 6:10 p.m. on Feb. 28. A GMC Yukon, driven by 42-year-old West Chester woman, was traveling north on Rt. 352 and was in the left turn lane to enter the Sunoco Gas Station, when a Dodge Ram traveling in the right lane struck the Yukon, according to State Police. No one was injured and no charges were filed.
Terroristic Threats—Delaware County Alternative School at about 12:10 p.m. on Feb. 26. A 19-year-old Chester man verbally threatened to assault a 72-year-old, which resulted in the 19-year-old engaging in a verbal fight with a 15-year-old, according to State Police. The 19-year-old later told a third person that he wanted to know where the 15-year-old lived so he could shoot him and then threatened the third person if they did not help him, according to State Police. Charges are being filed in District Court 32-2-48.

Simple Assault—Sunrise Senior Living Center at about 4 a.m. on Feb. 25. An 86-year-old victim suffered injuries while at the facility, according to State Police. The investigation is ongoing.
Retail Theft—Boscov's at Granite Run Mall at about 12:41 p.m. on Feb. 19. A Philadelphia woman was arrested in connection with a retail theft at the store, according to State Police.
Theft by Deception/Retail Theft—Sears at Granite Run Mall between noon and 5:59 p.m. on Feb. 11. A 41-year-old Philadelphia man, who was an employee at the store, created three fraudulent orders, totaling about $729.94, and defrauded Sears of the full retail value of the items, according to State Police.
