Starfish Project

Students learn how to make a difference in the life of one person

Rose Tree Elementary School students are focusing on the impact that one person can make this year. The Starfish Project is providing students and families with an opportunity to give of their talents, give of their time, and give a gift. It has been a huge success! Students referred to October as SOCKTOBER this year as new socks were collected to donate to those in need throughout Delaware County. Over 1,000 pairs of socks were collected! In November, students collected new Bingo prizes for a local assisted living community and sent Thanksgiving cards to those in need of a smile. For the month of December, students are singing, sharing art work, and donating items for holiday gifts. Rose Tree students understand how easy it can be to make the difference in the life of one person.
