State Police Blotter: Man Reports Stolen License Plate; Arrested on Warrant

Here is a list of recent incidents in Middletown and Edgmont townships reported by the Pennsylvania State Police-Media Barracks. Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call police at 484-840-1000. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.
Underage Drinking—New Darlington Road on Dec. 4. A 20-year-old man left his parent's residence after he was found to have consumed alcoholic beverages, State Police said. He was returned to his parents and charges were filed in district court, State Police said.
Prohibited Offensive Weapons/Drug Paraphernalia—Valley Road at approximately 12:25 p.m. on Dec. 3. Mark Andrew Bregande, 25, of Glen Mills reported a missing or stolen registration plate to police, State Police said. When police arrived they learned that Bregande had a warrant for his arrest from the Philadelphia Police Department and arrested him. A search of Bregande's residence revealed he also was in possession of drug paraphernalia and prohibited offensive weapons, State Police said. Bregande was transported to Media Barracks and picked up by Philadelphia Police. Charges will be filed in District Court 32-2-43.

Theft from Motor Vehicle—Granite Run Mall parking lot between 4:30 and 11:15 p.m. on Dec. 3. Unknown persons broke out a window on the victim's vehicle and stole various items, State Police said.
