State Street Car Show​ Returns To Media Sunday After 4-Year Hiatus

The free car show will take place from noon to 3 p.m. on State Street. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Media Food Bank.

MEDIA, PA — Cars are returning to State Street in Media.

Not because the road was closed, but because the State Street Car Show was on a four-year hiatus and is returning this weekend.

The show will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday on State Street in Media.

This highly anticipated event, hosted by the Media Business Authority in partnership with the Historical Car Club of Pennsylvania, is made possible with generous sponsorship from Granite Run Buick/GMC.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Media Food Bank, aiding in their mission to provide support to those in need within the community.

Volunteers from the Food Bank will be collecting non-perishable food donations in their tent at the intersection of State and Jackson Streets during the event.

"We’re honored to be part of this exciting event that showcases the beauty of classic cars," said Frank Levine, General Manager at Granite Run Buick GMC. "Our dealership has a long-standing tradition of supporting community-driven initiatives, and we’re happy to contribute towards the success of the new State Street Car Show."

With two communities located in Media – Lima Estates and Granite Farms Estates, Acts Retirement-Life Communities is excited to be the presenting sponsor for the event.

Seth Pancoast, Vice President of Historical Car Club of Pennsylvania, said the club is “looking forward to starting a new tradition by bringing an iconic show to the Delaware County Seat,” adding that the family-friendly event will “have something for everyone, from beautifully restored vintage cars to classic muscle cars and exquisite luxury automobiles.”

Admission to the State Street Car Show presented by Acts Retirement-Life Communities is free for spectators, and parking at meters and in municipal lots is free on Sunday.
