Student's Pathway From Army National Guard to LPN Program
The Practical Nursing Programs highlights Class 65 student and Army National Guard Officer Ebhozele in honor of Veterans Day.
Ebhozele was 35 years old and working at Amazon when he enlisted in the United States Army National Guard.
“It was my childhood dream. I love people in uniform, and I like to stand for what is right,” said Ebhozele on his enlistment.
He spent just over three years stationed at Army National Guard Base in Philadelphia, and through his experience, gained an acute understanding of the impact he can have on those in need. He decided to enroll in the Practical Nursing Program’s Class 65.

“My experience in the Army National Guard encouraged me to pursue nursing. The program is exciting, and I am learning things that I have never learned before. I am really excited to start working and be able to care for patients,” he said
Ebhozele will be graduating in February 2025, and after passing his licensure exam, he is eager to enter the workforce and open a homecare business later down the line.
Whether someone is in high school seeking a quick entryway into the workforce or seeking an alternative career, like Ebhozele, the Practical Nursing Program will guide you down the path toward becoming an LPN in under one year.
