Suspicious Man Who Approached Young Girl Sought: Media Police

MEDIA, PA – Media Borough Police are looking for a suspicious man who approached a young girl who was walking home from her bus stop last week.

Police are looking for a Caucasian male about 40 years old with a close cut hair style and brown hair. He was driving a older model vehicle that police said looked "beat up" and called himself "Jackson."

"Jackson" approached and began talking with the young girl after she exited her Rose Tree Media School District bus in the area of Third and Edgmont streets last week, police said.

Police, who were alerted to the incident on Saturday, Sept. 9, said officers have conducted several surveillance patrols of the bus stop and general area, but have not located the individual.

No crime has been committed at this time, but the police are asking the public's help in identifying the man.
