Unity March To Kick Off National Faith And Blue Weekend In Delco

MEDIA, PA — Delaware County officials are planning to host a unity rally this weekend aimed at creating safer, stronger, more just and more unified communities.

The National Faith and Blue weekend will take place Friday through Monday.

It all begins at 1 p.m. Friday with a Peace, Justice, and Unity March. Law enforcement, faith-based organizations, and the community are invited to gather at Second Baptist Church, 400. E State St. in Media. The march will head down State Street to the Delaware County Courthouse, where more information about Faith & Blue will be shared.

Sheriff Jerry Sanders is spearheading the initiative.
