Veterans Day at Rose Tree Elementary School

In honor of Veterans’ Day, Rose Tree Elementary School hosted Lieutenant Commander Tom Luft at an assembly for students in kindergarten through second grade. LCDR Luft, Naval Transport Aircraft Commander and parent of two Rose Tree Elementary students, presented a book about the history of Veterans’ Day. He challenged students with questions and competitions, stressing the importance of physical fitness and being ready, respectful, and responsible, in both school and the military.
