Winter Olympics in Media, PA

As the 2018 Winter Olympics had their Opening Ceremonies in PeyongChang, South Korea, Glenwood Elementary School in Media, PA had an opening ceremony for their Olympics games. The event included a processional of countries, with each class carrying their country's flag, a brass ensemble playing the "Olympic Fanfare," and lighting the torch. The school will have Olympic games, such as math facts relay, over the next two weeks, Glenwood's Olympic motto is that true champions are ready, respectful, responsible, and persevere.
