Six people are facing drug-related felony charges after contraband investigations led officials to discover drugs being smuggled into George W. Hill Correction Facility.

According to court documents, Ashlee Seeback, 33, of Pennsauken, has been charged with felony providing contraband to confined persons; misdemeanor providing contraband other than a controlled substance; misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance; and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. According to the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, Seeback was charged after a Sept. 3 incident where a correctional officer saw a visitor, later identified as Seeback, take something out of her 1-year-old child's diaper and drop it on the floor, which she then covered with her foot. When the officer approached and had Seeback move her foot, he found 56 Suboxone strips and tobacco in a bundle.

Seeback later told police that she put the bundle in her bra, entered the prison, and while speaking to the inmate, took the bag out of her bra and placed it in her lap between her thighs. She said she was holding her baby and the baby’s foot knocked the bundle to the ground.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Seeback told police prior to her visit at the county prison she met with a man named “Tito” in Philadelphia who gave her a bag that she thought contained tobacco, and also have her a Delaware County inmate's name and inmate number so she could deliver the bag in exchange for $200.
