• Scammers targeting Middletown electric customers, according to borough police (local21news.com) — Middletown Borough police are warning residents and business owners about scammers posing as the municipal electric company and demanding phone payments with gift cards, crypto, or cash apps. Officials stress they never take payments by phone and only accept bills online through the Middletown portal, at Borough Hall, or via the secure drop box, urging anyone targeted to verify accounts directly and report losses to police. 
• East Pennsboro and Middletown battle till the end (abc27.com) — Middletown’s football team dropped a heartbreaking 34-33 overtime loss to East Pennsboro, falling to 2-4 on the season. The matchup was featured on abc27’s long-running Friday Night Football, which highlights Mid Penn Conference action and other Central Pennsylvania high school games each week.
