• Recent DUI, Drug Possession Incidents Reported in Jefferson County (explorejeffersonpa.com) — State police say a 27-year-old man from Monroeville was stopped in Jefferson County and is accused of driving under the influence and possessing a controlled substance and paraphernalia. Two other unrelated DUI and suspected drug possession cases involving out-of-town drivers were also reported by troopers in the same county.
   

• Pa. Turnpike Commission fast-tracks Mt. Pleasant Township interchange, pauses Penn Township project (triblive.com) — Turnpike drivers between Irwin and Monroeville should expect continued construction as the Pennsylvania Turnpike is widened to six lanes in that stretch. While a new Penn Township interchange is being delayed over traffic concerns, an interchange near Route 981 in Mt. Pleasant Township is being fast-tracked under a new state "design-build" law.
