Someone recently stole 75 assorted car batteries from an auto salvage yard, worth about $1,000, according to Moon Township police.
Police received a theft complaint Monday from Jerry's Auto Wrecking on Flaugherty Run Road.
Police said the car batteries were covered with tarp and out of view when they were stolen from the back of an old dump truck in the salvage yard.
