Bomb Threat Made At Pittsburgh-Area High School

It's the second bomb threat in a week in a southwestern Pennsylvania school district.

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, PA - Police are investigating a bomb threat left Tuesday in a girls’ restroom at Montour High School. The threat read β€œMHS Boom! 9/27/18,” superintendent Christopher Stone revealed in a letter to district parents.

Stone sad the Robinson Police Department and school district police performed a sweep of the high school and did not find anything suspicious. Another sweep of the building will occur Wednesday and all evening activities at the school have been canceled.

β€œI want to assure you, we are taking every step necessary to ensure the security and well-being
of our students and staff,” Stone wrote.

A similar threat occurred in the nearby Carlynton School District last week. No incendiary device was found.
