What is modern or contemporary dancing you may ask? Most would describe it as dance in it's rawest form. It is a form of jazz that throws away all “rules” of classical ballet and adjusts fundamentals to one's innermost emotions. This class will teach students the basics of modern/contemporary dance and how to adapt their dance moves to different emotions. This workshop will consist of a warm-up, introduction of moves, a combo and partnering basics. This workshop is designed for ages 9 & up!
