EACH SPRING, Project Prom gives eligible high school students the opportunity to choose free formal attire from a selection of undamaged, clean, and currently styled formal gowns at a Gown Giveaway event. The event this year was held March 29, 30, and 31.
Following the event is a sale of all dresses that were not selected (April 6, 2011 10a.m. -- 6 p.m.) for $25 and under. The sale includes gowns, wraps, jewlery, shoes, and accessories.
All proceeds go to the purchase of tuxedo vouchers for young men attending Prom.
