• Margaret "Peg" Kirkpatrick Ryan , 87, a life-long resident of Neville Island, passed away Oct. 4 at UPMC Shadyside. She was born Aug. 28, 1924, and was the wife of the late Robert Ryan. She worked for the Kirkpatrick Card Shop in Coraopolis. She was a mother of six and grandmother of 10. Visitation is from 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Coraopolis Copeland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Coraopolis Cemetery. Donations in her memory can be made to the Neville Island Volunteer Fire Department.  

• Cecilia T. Riefer , 87, of Moon Township, passed away Oct. 4. She was born Aug. 7, 1924, in Altoona and was the wife of the late Warren Riefer. She was a mother of two and grandmother of six. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Coraopolis Copeland Funeral Home. She will be interred at St. Joseph's Cemetery. 

• Betty Jean Cahall McGeary, 79, of Moon Township, passed away Oct. 2. She was born Oct. 3, 1931, in Ohio. She was married to the late Teddy J. McGeary and was a mother of five and grandmother of 13. She was a graduate of Coraopolis High School and worked as a registered nurse at Sewickley Valley Hospital. Visitation was Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the in Moon.
