Moon Area to Collaborate with RMU on High School Musical

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat will run Nov. 13 to 17 in the high school auditorium.

Moon Area High School’s drama department is set toΒ collaborate with Robert Morris University this fall toΒ produce a joint musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat.

The musical will run Nov. 13 to 17Β in the high school auditoriumΒ under the direction of Laura Mitchell of Moon AreaΒ and RMU’s Ken Gargaro, who is anΒ RMU faculty memberΒ and founding director of Pittsburgh Musical Theater.

The joint educational venture will offer Moon Area and Robert MorrisΒ students the opportunity to interface and combine their talents to put on an "amazing" production for the community.Β

In addition to high schoolΒ students and Robert Morris students, the show will include more than 30 Moon Area Middle School fifth and sixthΒ graders.
