Teach your little ones about art with Fine Art Fridays. On August 13 at 11 AM, kids in grades K-6 can help us make a memorial art installation. We will read the book Maya Lin: Artist Architect of Light and Lines by Jeanne Walker Harvey and learn about how Lin designed the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. All participants will make a part of a larger installation for the library. Participants will be asked to create an image of what the past year has looked like to them (masks, virtual school, staying home, more time with family) or what they are looking forward to (trips, visiting, school, friends).
