Rhema Christian School hires new Principal

The Board of Rhema Christian School in Moon Township is pleased to announce the hiring of Christopher Berndt as Principal. Mr. Berndt, who graduated magna cum laude in education from Oral Roberts University, has over 13 years of experience as an educator and 17 years as a pastor for a total of 30 years of spiritual and organizational leadership. His education background includes instructing junior high students, acting as a school chaplain, becoming a teaching department head, assistant administrator and a principal. His leadership expertise includes the areas of instructional leadership, staff development, marketing and public relations, spiritual direction, missions and outreach.

Prior to education, Mr. Berndt was involved in church ministry which included two successful church plants as well as leading both small and large churches as a youth pastor, associate pastor and senior pastor.
He and his wife Stephanie and have been married for twenty six years and have two daughters who will be attending Rhema in the new school year. His enthusiasm is evident as he is excited as he sums up Rhema’s mission as an “exemplary education for a higher purpose!”

Rhema Christian School is a multi-denominational Christian school, serving approximately 200 children in Pre-school through 8th grade. The mission of Rhema Christian School is to partner with Christian parents to provide a Christ-centered environment for learning. Rhema is accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International, and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
