RMU Dismisses Guard from Basketball Program
Karon Abraham is let go from the team for violating team and university policies.

Karon Abraham, a 21-year-old guard on basketball team, has been dismissed from the team for violating team and university policies, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
The newspaper reports that head basketball coach Andrew Toole said in a statement that dismissing Abraham was 'in the best interest of our program."Β

"In the best interests of our program, we've decided to dismiss Karon Abraham from the Robert Morris University men's basketball team," Toole said in a news release. "We're disappointed that Karon will no longer be part of our program, but we hold our student-athletes to extremely high standards, not only on the court but off the court, as well."
The guard had been suspended from the team for the 2011-2012 season but was expected to return next year.Β Toole did not name the policies that AbrahamΒ violated.

Abraham was arrested in November 2010 in Coraopolis on two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol and underage drinking and again for underage drinking in April 2011 in Moon.Β
Abraham said on his Twitter account that he would "have to take his talents to another university next year."Β
