It's definitely not hard to find Steelers fans walking campus.
Everywhere I go, I see fellow students representing their Steelers pride by sporting black and gold. Students and faculty alike are gearing up for Super Bowl XLV. On my way around campus, I pass by office windows sporting signs saying things such as "Stairway to Seven."
Even the servers at the cafe on campus are decked out in Steelers garb when I buy my meals.

The campus celebrated the big game early with a Black and Gold "Soup-er" Bowl party Friday. Everyone who attended was asked to bring a can of soup to the event -- the party not only gets everyone pumped, but it raises donations for the Local West Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center on Brodhead Road. The event was complete with food, music, giveaways and prizes, not to mention airbrush tattoos and balloon art.
A lot of students are planning on taking in the game away from campus, with friends and family back home. I'm planning on making the trip home to Chippewa and cooking buffalo chicken -- just like I did last time the Steelers made the Super Bowl.

So back in Beaver County, I'll be making a buffet of food to enjoy while rooting for my team. I'll probably have matching Steelers plates and napkins to complete the buffet and get into the Steelers spirit.
And while we may be glued to the TV screen in different locals, there's one thing many of us RMU students will have in common this weekend -- excitement.
"It's the best two teams playing," said Katie Pruss, an RMU freshman. "It's always exciting when the Steelers make the Super Bowl."
