Route 51 Improvements Begin Monday in Coraopolis and Robinson Township
The project is part of a $2.5 million contract for roadway improvements in Allegheny County.

More roadwork is headed this way on Monday, Aug. 19.
That's whenΒ PennDOT plans to begin work toΒ improve Route 51 in Robinson and Coraopolis, weather permitting.
Work on Route 51Β (State Avenue/Coraopolis Road) willΒ include milling and resurfacing the roadway, base repairs, drainage upgrades, pavement markings and other minor improvements.Β

Traffic will be reduced to single-lane, alternating trafficΒ from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.Β MondayΒ throughΒ Friday between Vine Street and Forest Grove RoadΒ through early to late September.
The project is part ofΒ a $2.5 million contract with The Lane Construction Co. of Pittsburgh that involvesΒ improvements on several roads in Allegheny County.
