Teachers Union Spokesman: 'No Plans to Strike'
Check out Patch's archive of stories covering the ongoing dispute.

A spokesman for the Moon Area Education Association said that although negotiations between the union and have been halted, the union is not planning another strike.
Butch Santicola said the union was waiting for the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board to set a hearing date on unfair labor charges the union filed against the district on Feb. 25.
"You hear a lot of rumors, but there are no plans [to strike] at this time," said Santicola.
Union and school district officials last met for negotiations two weeks ago. Santicola said union members are "extremely supportive" of pursuing unfair labor charges against the district.
About 300 teachers, counselors and school nurses have been working under terms of a contract that expired in June. The dispute between the union and school district led to a 13-day strike in November.
Post-strike negotiations and two nonbinding arbitration hearings in recent months have failed to yield a contract. The union and school district have said that length of workday and employee contributions to health care are points of contention.
Patch has compiled an archive of stories chronicling the dispute between the two parties since teachers returned from the picket line in November.
