Traffic Jam: Utility Work to Stop Parkway Traffic in Robinson

Delays are expected Sunday morning on Interstate 376 through Robinson.

Motorists planning to travel Sunday via the Parkway West near Robinson Township might want to plan a detour on Sunday. 

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that Duquesne Light utility work on Sunday morning will close traffic in both directions on the Parkway West in Robinson, weather permitting.

Several full traffic stoppages of less than 15 minutes each will take place between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday, east of the Exit 59 interchange, near the Bayer property, according to a PennDOT statement.

Crews from Duquesne Light will be performing utility work over the parkway. 

Delays should be expected. Motorists can visit 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions and cameras on most major roadways before traveling.
