• Nazareth football wins 5th straight thanks to 49 first-half points (lehighvalleylive.com) — Nazareth High School's Blue Eagles football team rolled to its fifth straight win with a 49-6 rout of Stroudsburg, powered by 49 first-half points and a huge night from junior quarterback Cooper Madson. With Nazareth now 5-1, the team heads into four straight Northampton Division games, starting with a home matchup against Liberty on Oct. 9.
