Coming to the Nazareth Library: 'Booklover's Tea' with Maryann McFadden

I'm so excited to announce the return of one of our favorite events here at the Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity: Tea With the Author!

This year we have Maryann McFadden, who has written books such as The Richest Season and So Happy Together. Her newest novel, described as "a compelling story of love, loss and survival," is called The Book Lover. We're calling our event "Booklover's Tea With The Author."

The tea is scheduled for April 18 from 11 a.m. to noon. There is no charge, but space does fill up so call the library at (610) 759-4932 or e-mail me at jberk@nazarethlibrary.org as soon as possible to reserve a spot. 

We will have tea and refreshments whlie Maryann discusses her books and her fascinating career as a writer. She began by self-publishing her novel The Richest Season which eventually sold to a major publishing house. A writer's blog referred to it as "winning the literary lottery" to which Maryann says, "Hah! If only it were as easy and simple as buying a ticket and waiting for a number to be drawn."

It was an arduous journey, but she did not quit. She never gave up hope and says: "My advice to aspiring writers with a dream is work hard, persevere and BELIEVE!"

It is sure to be an inspiring and entertaining presentation, with a beautiful tea at the library. Books will be available to be purchased and signed by the author. Register today!
