Why Can't She Stay in Her Own Bed?
Short of duct tape, I guess I'll just have to accept the inevitable.
It might sound like a dumb question, but why can't my 5-year-old daughter sleep in her own bed the entire night?
I now realize, however, that she sleepwalks -- or something close to it. Last night I got a 4 a.m. wake-up call from her, but later in the day she could not explain why she even got out of her bed.
This makes me wonder if all the talk around her preschool about why children insist on sleeping in their parents' beds is necessary -- it feels like our children will do it no matter what we do.
