Chickadees of
Jacobsburg

Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center lies in the so-called “hybrid zone” of
Black-capped and Carolina Chickadees. Join Dr. Amber Rice and colleagues from
Lehigh University as they capture and band chickadees as part of their
chickadee hybrid research. Learn about chickadee biology and fun things to do
to help them in your yard. This is a great opportunity to hold and release live
