We have some new offerings at the library, two fun events focusing on arts and crafts. Check them out!
(1) Intro to Painting -- Learn to paint at the library with artist Tara Carson, founder of JellyBean town, USA. Tara is a warm and gentle teacher, welcoming beginners or those with some experience looking to take their art to the next level. The class is for adults only. Note: there is a $10 fee per class. Call Tara for details at (610) 248-0549. The class meets every Monday at 10:30am.
(2) Sit and Knit at the Library -- All are welcome to Sit and Knit (and Crochet!) at the Library on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. The first session is December 10 at 6pm. Beginners to experts are welcome; bring your own needles and yarn, and a project to work on. An experienced knitting instructor will be on hand to help, but please keep in mind Sit and Knit isn’t a "free class," so much as a casual group where knitters and crocheters can create in a friendly and warm environment.
