Ornithologist Terry Master

Dr. Terry Master from East Stroudsburg University will present “The Louisiana Waterthrush:
A Canary in an Aquatic Coal Mine”. Terry began his research on Louisiana
Waterthrushes in 1996 and continues currently in and around the Delaware Water
Gap National Recreation Area and in Costa Rica. He teaches courses in ecology,
animal behavior and ornithology. Terry has combined his fondness for birds,
education, travel and photography by offering classes to ESU students in the
tropics and organizing and conducting natural history tours with his wife,
Sally, to the Galapagos Islands, Kenya, Tanzania and, in particular, Costa
