Variety.com reported that the cable channel IFC has given the greenlight to Micucci's comedy series “Garfunkel & Oates” for 2014.
The series features the lives of comedy-folk duo Micucci and Riki Lindhome, who sing funny, satirical songs, like "Sex with Ducks," "Pregnant Women are Smug" and "Weed Card."
Micucci spread the word on her Facebook page, and fans shared their congratulations.
Born in New Jersey and raised in Bushkill Township, Micucci appeared in five episodes of "Scrubs" and has had guest roles on "Raising Hope," "Malcolm in the Middle," "'Til Death" and "How I Met Your Mother." She is a 1998 graduate of Nazareth Area High School, and she led Nazareth Borough's annual kazoo parade in 2010.
