Maggie Spike to Perform at the Nazareth Center for the Arts
Maggie Spike will perform from 8pm to 10pm Friday. Admission is free.

The duo that is Maggie Spike will take to the stage at the Nazareth Center for the Arts at 8 p.m. on Friday.
Maggie and Eric Gernerd, a husband and wife team, are singer-songwriters whose love for their craft and each other is evident in each performance.

Maggie Spike has released two albums -- "Passenger Station" in 2005 and "Sol Paradise" in 2009.

It’s difficult to classify the duo's genre. Their style encompasses folk rock, jazz, acoustic pop, Celtic, psychedelic, reggae, Americana and world rhythm. This broad spectrum of musical style means every Maggie Spike performance has a little something for everyone.
According to the duo, “We enjoy the experience of sharing our songs with others in an entertaining and meaningful way.”
Maggie Spike -- one of four finalists in the Xtreme Folk Festival's 7th Annual Song Contest -- will perform “Statues in the Rain" Saturday during the two-day Xtreme Folk Festival that starts Friday in Telford.
Following the Saturday afternoon performances, a winner will be chosen and will have the opportunity to perform his or her song on the main stage that night.
For Friday night's performance at the Nazareth Center for the Arts, admission is free; however, a donation to benefit the local arts center is suggested.
