Man Killed in Route 611 Crash
East Stroudsburg man killed in crash in Upper Mount Bethel Township Monday morning, state police say.

An East Stroudsburg man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Route 611 Monday morning, State Police said.
State Police at Belfast reported that the crash took place at 508 a.m. Monday after the vehicle struck a downed tree on Route 611 about 300 feet north of Slateford Road in Upper Mount Bethel Township, a press release stated.
The man was identified as Larry R. Cory, 55, of East Stroudsburg.
Cory was pronounced dead at the scene by Northampton County Deputy Coroner Coy Smith.
The crash was investigated by Trooper Jay Splain.
The tree extended across both lanes of the road, police said.
