Martin Guitar to Receive Green Building Award
Martin Guitar has been named the Green Building Award winner by the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Martin Guitar's distribution center in Forks Township is the recipient of the Green Building Award from the Greater Lehigh Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber and The Frederick Group will present the award at The Lehigh Valley Commercial Real Estate Outlook and Awards Luncheon on April 18.
Martin Guitar opened its distribution center—located in the former Famous Smoke Shop building on Conroy Place—in March 2012. A focus of the newly renovated building was energy conservation.

The facility boasts lighting controlled by motion detectors, increased insulation, bicycle racks in its parking area and a walking path—all of which allowed Martin Guitar to apply for Bronze Level LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental) Certification.
During the April 18 luncheon, The Frederick Group will present "Inside Up and Outside In: A Lehigh Valley Perspective. Why the outsiders are coming…Why the insiders are staying!"
